Great location just a block from the beach and short walk to Main street for shopping and dining. The unit was very clean upon arrival. I was a little concerned it would be too loud with the basketball court right below our bedroom, but it was really quiet at night. The only complaint I would have is that there were some other people there who brought dogs and they were not on leash nor did they pick up the dog waste. We had our dog with us as well and she was always on leash and we picked up the dog waste immediately. that is not the fault of the rental management company but just something they should be aware of. Overall we had a great stay.

Incredibly helpful and kind staff, the best I've ever experienced, and I've been going to this beach for 32 years. I'm grateful I had the opportunity to experience this, meant so much to me.

We had the best week in NMB. The house was perfect for our party of 7. The house was immaculate when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked with all the tools for cooking. We spent a lot of time on the covered porch in the evenings. Great property and so close and convenient to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at sandtrap 8. We brought a couple of teenagers with us and the basketball and volley ball court was great entertainment for them throughout the week when we were not at the beach. The walk is just a few mins away to the sand. The only thing I would change would have one of the bedrooms to be a master with a larger bed.

We had a blast. The unit was great, clean and location was perfect. Property Management staff was very attentive. The only issue I would say is the one unit allowed their dog in the pool. But I guess you can't control someone else's disrespect. So I would have to reconsider units that allow pets.

Stayed here with our kids and grand kids to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Nine of us total. Never ran out of hot water. Air conditioner was super cold. House is just across the street from the beach. It is closer to the beach than what it looks on the map, about a 3 minute walk to the public access to the beach. Nice having the whole house to ourselves. Nobody could bother us and we couldn't bother anybody regardless of what we did. Parking right at the door. Would definitely stay here again if we ever went back. Made a lot of fond family memories.

This was my 1st rental from this agency and will not be my last. The house was in a perfect location, plenty of room, and it was awesome having a pool! My family and I enjoyed our week. The staff was welcoming and we had all the comforts of home.

Our family has been using these awesome people for over 10 years straight for our rentals. I would not go anywhere else! The Sandtrap 8 was a very nice and clean rental just a 2 minute walk to the public beach access. This unit is definitely be well suited for anyone with 3bdr 2 bath needs!

The good: The house is really cute with a wonderful covered porch and a nice grassy area right next to it that is perfect for corn hole. When You enter the house you are in a great open living/kitchen area. Everything was clean, updated, and a pleasant place to eat and watch tv.
The Bad: There is no master bedroom. One bedroom needs either a queen or king bed in it. The two bedrooms with the two full beds have both beds right up against the wall making them very hard for two people to sleep in. This also blocks the air vents in both rooms making them stuffy. Also the porch would be a super place to sit if it had some nice chairs. A picnic table is not very comfortable to sit at
The Ugly: Dorian arrived and we all had to evacuate. Retreat Myrtle Beach handled the situation great. We hope to return some time soon to finish our vacation.

The folks at Retreat Myrtle Beach do a wonderful job ensuring your stay in Myrtle Bsach is the best it can be. From the friendly front desk check in staff to the responsiveness of the office my family and I couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable beach vacation. The unit was clean and well maintained, the kids enjoyed the pool access, the basketball and volley ball courts in the back yard. With the ocean directly access the street we had the best of both worlds. Thank you retreat Myrtle Beach for yet another amazing beach vacation.

We had a family reunion vacation and there was plenty of space here. The large table even fit everyone comfortably at meal times and game nights. Just a short walk to the beach and plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the sun, sand and surf. The pool was a nice place to hang out while dinner was being prepared or after dinner.

We absolutely loved this house! Literally, everything about it. It was so clean, especially for a pet friendly home. The bedrooms and bathrooms were so spacious and comfortable. The location is perfect. So close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and bars. Kudos to Pat, the maintenance guy. He checked on us regularly throughout the week. What a nice guy. We had a great stay at the Sweetwater Inn with family for spring break. The dogs enjoyed their morning walks on the beach, which was very close and easily accessible. The property had plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone. We also enjoyed lounging by the pool during the day, and relaxing in the hot tub at night. The pool table added hours of entertainment for our crew. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for Easter dinner. Property management was there often, making sure our stay was going well and maintaining the pool and hot tub. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to SC.

Great spot, 2nd time staying here, will be back. Chris & staff were easy and great to work with.

This is the 3rd year that we stayed at Sweetwater, it just wasn’t clean this time. I looked at my socks one day and I had blonde dog hair all over my socks, we don’t have a blonde dog. The shower liners had mold at the bottoms, sand everywhere. The Master Bed upstairs was broken or needed a new my. I did love the new decorations. We planned on booking next year, but the price doubled. This house needs updating and a good cleaning for $10,000.00 a week. The lawn wasn’t mowed all week and the pool was filthy when we arrived.

It was very well equipped, everything you needed for your stay.

The house is an incredible space for a large group. Very clean. Dishwasher was not working which was unfortunate for the Christmas holiday as there was a lot of cooking.
Management company was courteous with good communication. We were disappointed with our interactions with the owner. He arrived on Christmas day and began yelling at my daughter and granddaughter that it cost 500.00 a day to heat the pool and they should get out of it. After investigation, It seems it was a miscommunication between the property caretaker and the owner. There was no need to be so rude to my children on Christmas because of an error/communication failure on their part. It did put a damper on the holiday.

Thirteen of us, grandparents, parents and children, enjoyed our week here. Prior to our stay and during it, the staff was very responsive and helpful. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, and the large living area worked well for us. The pool was large enough for us but might be crowded with more people. You cannot communicate from the upper floors to the pool without going to the ground level. The houses in this area are close together and you could hear people from several nearby houses.

Even with the present new medical rules the staff and management were just super to make sure our stay was as good as it has been in all the years past. The house, pool,hot tub, and grounds were clean and fresh when we got there, the linens were there waiting, it was just great.

Everything was great! The house was comfortable. Great location. Pool & hot tub were a blast! Disappointed that rental agency said my daughter could store some very nice pool floats in the locked utility closet for 2 weeks until our family came down to rent same house she and friends had just rented. Not only were all 7 floats gone, but rental agency offered no apology, nor appeared concerned in the least that they went missing. As well the whole staff basically badmouthed my daughter’s high school group who had been there 2 weeks before. Very unprofessional in my opinion to go on and on about customers who paid a lot of money to the company. So besides those negative encounters, the trip was a huge success. Just a few personal issues which will likely not ever effect anyone else.

We enjoy renting this home because it enables our whole family to be together. And our dogs are definitely part of that family.

Great job fixing the pool and hot tub which we enjoyed very much. Suggest adding Golf Channel to your TV package as we were here on a golf holiday and this channel not included. Strange !!!

We had a party of 11 and it was more than enough space...the 5yr old's each had their own Queen size beds :) This house definitely didn't disappoint and would recommend it to anyone. Very clean and up to date. You can see the ocean from the top deck and the beach was less than a 2 minute walk with the public access site directly across from the street the house sits on. The beach wasn't overly crowded either. The private pool and jacuzzi were clean and a very nice feature to the location. The only downfall is that there isn't an elevator, which wouldn't have been a problem but it was difficult for Grandma to get up and down. Other than that, it was perfect! If you're on the fence, just do it! You won't regret it!
